Get your Macbook Airs starting Tuesday!

Not that this is the biggest deal in the world, but for those hopin’ and wishin’ and prayin’ to get a MBA as fast as possible, you’ll be able to run down to your local Apple store to grab one on Tuesday! Here’s the deal: stores have them, no question because they arrived Friday / Saturday. But, since Steve-O said “2 weeks,” it’s 2 weeks, ok? Product banners and visuals will go up on Monday night in all Apple stores for the official “launch” on Tuesday, and the Genius Bar employees get their official training tomorrow. Wait, didn’t we practically say this? Oh, yeah, we did!

UPDATE: Looks like it might be Wednesday now!

Apple Store has no MacBook Air and won’t release a date. Look like it might be a good time for a retraction hey By Genius?

First time I have ever posted on Engadget !!
Will someone please do a better job of moderating this site - I come here for new information, new technology, reviews, release dates etc. Generally the data that helps me evaluate the good and bad features of a product/technology I’m interested in. Often the posted views are really interesting, but it seems we have to endure a small, but highly disruptive, totally useless thread of rantings by posters like Gal.
Please just delete the posts, so people like me do not have to wade through his useless, uninformative, trivial, nonsensical - diatribes
I like all technology and just about everything has compromises, successes and failures - that’s what I’d like to hear discussed. By the way - I think people just don’t get the MBA concept. I travel by air every week, I lug my stuff around and I want to minimize that. Apple has a laptop solution for everyone, if you need fully loaded, they have it, if you want a medium solution, they have it - if you want to play games or need a windows app - load windows on it. In a PC review of Vista performance on laptops, Apple’s MBP was the fastest - Comment on the technology and for the rest of your views please keep them to yourself, because the are useless and juvenile at best - live and let live

dude, this thing looks nice, but its not that useful. there are 4 different components you will have to purchase in order to use it like a normal laptop. the extra fraction of an inch on my laptop is fine with me. at least it does what i want it to.
