Surely you aren’t saying that you’d like a product that looks nice but is functionally (and fundamentally) flawed? Look at the debacle that is Vista as an example of what happens if a product is rushed. I’d Rather get something that works and that is secure.

What has changed since you read the article that’s made the curve any less of a device? The Curve is an awesome device – I love mine. Besides which, I’m yet to see anything that comes close to offering the same functionality with the same ease of use.

Dude htc’s bee dropping the bomb on driver issues I ran across a guy on his 3rd wing he’s hat warenty the out winmos not much better but I agree rims gotta stop playing the delay game.

I can’t even begin to express my disappointment with RIM right now. I switched to an 8320 from a Palm 680 believing that RIM was on the ball and wanting to keep customers up to date.

Frankly, I’m tired of waiting for true threaded SMS, and tired of waiting for a decent built-in calendar program. I loved my curve until I read this article. 4.5 is certainly at least 6 months away, and I’ll consider my Curve obsolete by then and I’ll be eying a windows mobile device after having to suffer the inability to truly customize my device with programs that don’t remind me of Windows 95.

I think this is the “security” of the OS causing delays that would not occur in any normal OS. Seems RIM has tough time making changes as they have alot of issues to cover with security.

love to see someone hack the BB security. To me thats like the holy grail…
