T-Mobile launches Samsung t819

Ready for another plain EDGE slider on T-Mobile? Well, there seems to be a "secret" 3G band buried deep inside, but for now, it’s all EDGE! T-Mobile just launched the Samsung t819, and the specs are pretty mid-range. Its got Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera, MyFaves support, T-Mobile Address Book support, microSD slot, and a pretty small 220 x 176 display. The "coffee brown" t819 should be available from T-Mobile directly and T-Mobile stores starting today.

    Any word on when this government is getting off 1700mhz and T-Mobile rolling out the spectrum?

    I guess it’s no rush until RIM starts producing some 3G ‘berrys.

    The specs says quad band but also dual band on 3g spectrum. anyone knows whether there are 5 bands on this phone? or will there be another release with just the 3g dual bands (1700/2100mhz)?
