iPhone 1.1.3 firmware gets Jailbroken

This is not a huge surprise, but it looks like the brand new iPhone firmware version 1.1.3 has received the Jailbreak treatment. As of right now the process has been deemed to complicated and perilous for public consumption. The team is promising a more palatable solution soon, however. The process has been tested and verified on both the iPhone and the iPod Touch. This is good news for anyone too impatient to wait until next month when Apple drops their official SDK and begins offering fully sanctioned third-party applications. Let’s hope the masterminds behind this project manage to get the consumer version out of the gates before too long.

It took less time to get 1.1.3 jailbroken than it took to get 1.1.2 jailbroken.
