HTC Touch gets Verizon-branded
Can the world handle an HTC Touch on both Verizon and Sprint? We’re about to find out. It seems that a clever fellow managed to get some snapshots of a Verizon HTC Touch demo unit. The phone looks to be pretty much identical to the Sprint version, though the photographer claims that the Verizon version is a bit thinner than Sprint’s. We’re assuming this is just a bit of subjective error here, but if HTC and Verizon really did manage to slim this thing down that would be quite impressive. Apparently Verizon will be launching this bad boy sometime in March of this year, and it will be sold exclusively in White and branded as the Verizon XV6900. Not too shabby if you ask us.

Dosn’t matter. Verizons gonna cripple the phone anywayz
True Gal, but if this article is true and it’s just like the HTC deal including “the cube” then this is finally a reason to switch to Verizon…maybe…
You will eat your words later this year, i can’t wait.
gal;
what exactly do you think they will cripple?
March? You must mean March 2009–this is Verizon we’re talking about.
Great network and customer service to match. Were it not for their phone selection, I’d have undiluted enthusiasm for the company.
Wow, good news until I see that BS white casing.
right on ‘hill’! … what’s up with the white casing?! i want the black one just like sprint…
i’m sure verizon will cripple the phone, as mentioned. that sucks.
also, i might have to switch to sprint just for the $99/mo complete package with data and all… get with it verizon!!!
