Man, they must be itching to get these things moving! $699? At the end of the day, the specs are pretty impressive at that price point, but, well, you already know our feelings. Any takers for some clam shell ultra-portable PC Rev. A action at $699 a pop? Damn HTC, you’re really friggin’ this whole thing up…

ahahaha I laughed pretty hard at this headline. Vulcan is just trying to get rid of the units it made. This project just needs to die already. Total failure.
Too late, Asus EEE is already there. Well Asus is ALWAYS there, theyre one of a few companies that isnt all about making a huge profit, but enough. Unlike other companies that purposely sell their products at higher prices and then lower down the price over time, fooling comsumers thinking its cheaper when its not.
$699 for something that looks like a label maker, no thanks…

The problem is that while a good concept the form factor is not right; whom wants to input full Windows with their thumbs? The answer nobody so they must unload them to sell them.
What they should have done is used the popular clamshell designs of the past like the HP Jornada 720 or Psion 5mx. Those were large enough to provide a good touch type keyboard yet small enough to still fit in any jacket pocket.
