Some people are happy with the Linux OS that comes bundled but ofcourse people like me who like their windows interface and I mean XP in this case then hell yeah, they should provide an alternate OS and the choice should be left with the consumers. I myself think the resolution should atleast be 800x600 and If an Asus EEE comes with an upgradable flash drive then we are in heaven. We already have compact flash cards that go upto 32GB why not have a CF drive with the PCi slot that is not used, or just put inside as a plug n play. The problem is the cost, which is one of the many selling points of the EEE line and yes the important. With a bigger screen, bigger memory and XP (windows taxes are ridicolous) the price would probably be swimming in the lower end full sized laptops that can do more with a more powerful processor.
