Apple’s new laptops: confirmed!

Leave it up to our music industry spies (Ok, well, Just Blaze really) to set the record straight! Apple will 100% be announcing a new laptop at MacWorld. We’ve also heard the laptop will go on sale a week after MacWorld, too. What laptop is this? The much-rumored ultra portable one? Well, we’d guess so, but do not have a firm confirmation on the details of the new unit. Once again, completely without a doubt confirmed Apple will be announcing a new sort of laptop at MacWorld. How do we know this? Apple had a recent holiday event where they had artists perform (some really big names, too), and they all did it for free! Why did they perform without being paid? Apple promised to give every performer and band member one of the new laptops they are coming out with at MacWorld! That’s all, folks!

And the new laptop will incorporate carbon-fiber with Ti, and will be MUCH slimmer than today’s MacBook Pros.

*yawn* If it’s a tablet like everyone seems to think, it’s got a lot of proving to do… proof of it’s input methods, proof of it’s structural and operational stability. People seem to forget about all the problems with the first Ti PowerBooks or the first few rounds of Intel-based MacBooks. I recently got a MacBook Pro and don’t regret it a bit. :-D

Apple promised to give every performer… once [sic] of the new laptops…

Gosh, with unimpeachable sources like these — anonymous band members who didn’t have contracts (because Apple never would’ve signed anything like this) — who needs Supreme Court justices to voice the law of the land?

In other words, total BS. There may be new laptops, but Boy Genius is really Baby Clueless.

That was filed back in 2004… which at this point, probably means nothing. I haven’t seen any rumors to back up your claim either.

We all know how Apple’s Ti notebooks worked out… if anything Apple’s moving towards Aluminum and glass. A refresh of Apple’s MacBook Pro is long overdue so it’s pretty obvious no matter what Apple says to artists we all know it’s coming.

I won’t give credit to anyone named Walt. Except Walt Frazier or Walt Disney.

People have been talking about a new notebook for macworld, most think its a thinner macbook though.
Walt, its a rumor site….remember that. Oh and if your first name is walt, don’t post under that name.

Refresh of the Mac Book Pro, new Tablet (they have the success and technology of the touch screen now to apply it to their OS), and I’m going to also guess that they may refresh the HD’s on the laptops to solid state, or at least make it an option.

That’s my poke at what may take place at MacWorld.

Do you really think any major performer would give a free show for a laptop that’s more than likely worth less than $2000? Come on…
