Official Blu-ray site gets hacked and redirected to HD-DVD site

Yeah…the title pretty much sums this one up. The official site for the Blu-ray association was breached repeatedly on Friday. Security flaws are nothing new these days, with sites routinely fortifying themselves against malicious hackers. The humor here, however, is that whomever decided to execute this cyber-prank tossed a little humor in the mix, redirecting all traffic from www.blu-raydisc.com to www.hddvd.org, the main site for official HD-DVD business. We’re fairly certain that this had nothing to do with any official HD-DVD operatives, but no one in the HD-DVD camp is going to be upset by this. Now we sit back and wait for the Blu-ray rebuttal.

That’s classic.

Who cares. Just a sad cry for attention from someone who likely has no social skills and no life.

This is pretty good since the Blu-Ray and HDDVD businesses have been at each others throats since they were first started.
Can you say technology war anybody?
