Nokia Gets Proactive and Starts Leaking Info Themselves
If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Shortly after leaked N96 photos made their cyber-rounds, Nseries users browsing Nokia’s mobile portal were given a little something extra. It appears that someone was a bit hung over during the last update to the Download! page as the rumored N82 8GB and US 3G-edition of the N95 8GB were added to the list of supported devices. But wait! What has us even more confused is that once news of the slip-up started spreading, reference to the N82 8GB was removed and the N95 8GB NAM mention is still there! Are the people in charge of Nokia’s mobile portal hardcore partiers or is this how Nokia will be launching phones from now on? Either way, we can safely assume that these two rumored devices aren’t far away from being confirmed, announced and released. Re-re-re-releasing the RAZR worked pretty well for Motorola (for a while) and apparently Nokia is following their lead. The buzz from Vegas is that the over / under on "how many times can Nokia tweak the N95 and re-release it?" has been bumped up to 7 and smart money might just be on the over.

Wouldn’t it be even cooler if it was the N96 North American Edition with a xenon flash???

It certainly would be cool… N96-4X (that’s my version of at&t / t-mobile and EU version with Xenon flash
But let’s be realistic…even if N95-8 is already a few months old it still will be nice to see it with US bands. And I’d be EVEN happier if it was THE launch device for T-Mobile 3G
