iPowerRush Gives Your iPod / iPhone a Boost

Oregon-based Fusion Audio Technologies (FAT? Seriously?) announced the availability of their new power extender for iPods and the iPhone this past Friday. Pulling its juice from six AAA batteries, the iPowerRush can turn the standard "oh crap my iPhone is about to die" dash home into a simple flip of a switch. FAT reports that the iPowerRush can pump an extra 10-15 hours of operation into the iPod depending on usage. iPhone battery life is extended by three hours of continuous internet usage, four hours of talk time or 120 hours of standby time. Available on their site for $30, the peace of mind that the iPowerRush provides is well worth the price of admission.

True…to an extent, or if they put in longer-life batteries.

I’m no expert on how technology works, but I use my iphone all the time and compared to my older phones, the battery life seems excellent with the tech apple had to work with at the time. Of course it’s going to be some time before it meets my personal expectations, but I think 4-5 hours of video is too short for any device. I hope the 20+ hours of a device running video per charge comes soon

I’ve got the MacAlly iPod/iPhone battery extender that’s been out for a while now and it works the same in that while it will allow you to use your device while it’s connected, it will not charge your battery. This makes the device a lot less practical in my opinion. Who wants to walk around with this dongle attached to your phone???
