HTC releases TyTN II, S710 updates
‘Tis the season for spectrum auctions and OS updates. Following in the footsteps of Verizon and LG, HTC has just released a small patch designed to fix some Bluetooth issues. It’s not a massive update by any stretch of the imagination, but for anyone that has been experiencing dropped calls while using their Bluetooth connection, your day of justice has arrived. The patch comes straight from HTC, so we’re not sure if this is compatible with an AT&T-branded Tilt, or any other Kaiser / TyTN II variants. That said, it’s nothing more than a .CAB file available for an OTA download, so it can never hurt to try.
Installed fine on the ‘Tilt’. Have not noticed anything different – I was hoping this would resolve the poor Bluetooth audio problem…
Really, Jeff B’s Tilt might require an update? But i thought it was perfect, hmmm.
If you have the AT&T 1.60 ROM, this is already including.

Where can I get the 1.6 ROM? Mine is 1.57.502.2
I just bought my Tilt a few weeks ago and it has the 1.57.502.2 ROM as well.
Still waiting for WM 6.1.

So, yea my Tilt is perfect…at least more perfect than any other i…smartphone out there.

yeah, im just messing with you. I was in ATT the other day and used the Tilt for about 20 min. very good device, definitely my favorite HTC / WM.
good to see the makers getting updates out rather than letting people suffer until the new model comes out.
Yea I should say the same thing about the iPhone, the only thing I don’t like is the keyboard ’cause I can’t use 2 thumbs with it. If it had video recording and 3G I would be havin’ one of those right now.
