Facebook and Match.com team up to get you stalked
In case the world of Internet strangers wasn’t scary enough, Match.com has now added a new feature to their service, called Little Black Book. Clever name, and definitely out-of-the-box thinking. With it, Match.com members can be linked through Facebook with other singles looking for love. And, as expected, it will also hook you up with singles on Match.com, but who might not be on Facebook’s social network. Not revolutionary enough? How about this…your friends and family can team up to create a profile for you in an effort to get you a date. Now, the world of getting fixed up has extended to your Internet. Sure, it requires your approval, but we envision that sinking-heart feeling when you get a "request for approval" on your Facebook page signaling your friends’ and family’s desire to set you up with strangers in some kind of weird inter(net)vention. Pass.
