Sprint is the “undisputed leader in customer service”!
One of readers took a brief Sprint Customer Satisfaction Survey, and what was the message he got on completion? Nothing big, just that Sprint apparently is the "undisputed leader in Customer Service"! Really, guys? The undisputed leader? That’s quite a stretch, don’t you think? They were rated the worst, after all, in J.D. Power and Associates awards.

Haha! That’s like when Cingular said “zero dropped calls” and had to change it to “more bars.” It’s amazing what they try and get away with!
Wow. What BS. I don’t think anyone at Sprint knows what customer service is.
Yeah, but the Cingular thing was a little worse. That was marketing materials, billboards, advertising, etc. This is just something on their site, but definitely more hilarious!
fake it till you make it !
I went through one of those Sprint “customer satisfaction survey’s” over the phone.
The questions that they ask are tricky because of the way they ask it. If you can’t answer some of those questions becuase they were “N/A” then the rep just put as satisfied which would count for the total score towards Sprints survey…
This is a BS survey and they need to re-do it properly without a 3rd party bias, which was obvious.
Classic! That is some funny stuff…they continue to lose more and more customers because of their ‘lack’ of customer service. It should read more like…
“Thanks for taking the survey, sucker. Not sure how we’ve managed to keep you on our service, but please continue. It’s shmucks like you that keep us going!”
this is the biggest laughstock for the day, and lost 2LBs just by laughing for reading such false claim
S/N, you made my day today!
Actually Cingular’s ad’s stated “Fewest dropped calls” not zero calls
Yeah, Sprint is garbage in Customer Service. I’ve had to call them at least 15 times in the last month alone for shi* I should never have had to call in about. Most of their customer service people aren’t native English speakers as well, makes it really tough to communicate.
I second the “hard to communicate” part. I left them and went to t-mobile and was shocked the 1st time I called for support and got someone who actually understood me.
Hey Sprint, thanks for kicking me out of my own Sprint contract! Yay undisputed!
Well they are partially right, they have the best customer service.. for call centers based in India. Sprint by far gives them better scripts than any other outsourcing CS mobile provider. It almost used to make me think I was talking to someone based in the midwest of the US.. yeah.. almost. [/sarcasm]
They should just give up.
cingular’s claim was supported by telephia data. look it up before opening your gossip hole on this blog.
Aw man whaen I saw this I was tryinng not to laugh too hard. Seriously the custoner service is a joke an I had so many dropped calls with them.
What they mean is that if you try to call customer service to dispute the “undisputed” claim, they will promtly cancel your service and turn off your phone. Service problem solved!
This seems to be the latest thing in PR campaigns: make a claim until someone forces you to prove it. Problem is, in this case, anyone who has ever used Sprint knows they suck.
I know you can all laugh and joke and you’re all right to some extent. Sprint has, and still has to some degree some serious issues to work out with customer service. I still port numbers over from EVERY other company because customers at TMo, VW, At&t, had messed up bills, and terrible customer experiences, where they have been screwed over. Just remember why you’re talking s!@%#$ about all of us, there are those who do everything we can to help every customer we talk to, and doing whatever it takes to make the customers we talk to happy. The fact is, there is just crappy people to who don’t know how to treat other people at every company. Even your beloved AT&T….especially since they’ll resell your iPhone when you lose it or when it’s stolen. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
simply stated, sprint sucks
This makes me wonder: didn’t they drop the customers who complained too much? I guess if the only ones left are those with no complaints, then it may be honest marketing?
It’s April Fool’s somewhere….
Telephia wonders where AT&T got the “Fewest Dropped Calls” notition from because it wasn’t from them. In the North East AT&T was not allowed to advertise this at all in stores. Class Action Lawsuits from customers have also spawned from that advertising campaign. Proof: Google “AT&T Fewest Dropped calls” UCAN, Boston Globe, Etc all show us it’s impossible to reference a company’s findings that does not back up a claim. JD Power, Consumer Report. Nuff Said on that and Sprint Awesome CS.
im pretty sure that whole celebration crap we had at tmobile for winning that award means we were the best this year right???
oh yeah jesse how can someone resale your iphone if it is lost or stolen that would be considered a magic trick from hell lol but i guess working for sprint dropped your IQ just a little bit didnt it?
thats not true rage, once i dropped my phone at the bottom the lake and 2 weeks later they sold it to my friend, those sob’s!!!
drano if i did not know you personally i would say that you worked for sprint with that stupid post but i know you are a great tmobile tech just like me
