LuxuryRide Cart: only ballers need apply
When you’re rocking one-of-a-kind Nikes you have to take every precaution to ensure that you don’t scuff them. Even the 20-minute walk from one end of your mansion to the other can open up far too many opportunities for an accident. LuxuryCarts knows this all too well and their latest cart is just what you need to sit back and relax with the reassurance that your gear is well protected. Available with gas or electric power, the LuxuryRide packs custom seats, a custom front end and 12" aluminum sport wheels into a heavy-duty fiberglass Club Car chassis. Options include a Limo hard top, custom paint, 15" billet aluminum wheels and AM/FM/CD to let everyone know you’re coming. The LuxuryRide starts between $22,450 and $23,350 and tops out at $30,950 for the fully loaded 4-passenger gas model. Whether you’re cruising your estate or the local golf course, the fake Bentley GT grill is just what you need to do it in style.

look, seriously, I understand the site needs content, but what is going on? who is screening these posts? I’ve asked once, I’ll ask again
BG?
Jibi?
SOMEONE?
don’t let this become a dumbed-down version of engadget. stick to more exclusives and stories of interest. not a good look.
Wow I was going to submit a comment but b.N. above sorta beat me to it.
I really would prefer if BGR stuck to exclusives and stuff that is of interest to mobile communications. All these posts about “bling” gaming peripherals, golf carts, and other weird unrelated stuff is really turning me off. I used to check every day on BGR but now I just don’t get all that excited anymore.
I’m not sure what other people think about this but news that is unrelated is a dime a dozen. BGR used to be known for exclusives and insider mobile phone info. Now I see more and more “noise” versus signal: rapstars and gangster diamond toilets? ugh.
I actually have no problem with this article. I understand how its not easy to find exclusives. Better yet when you have a ton of people checking your sites for exclusives it gets really tough. Not everyone is going to like the article and I think that’s what’s going on here.
I couldn’t agree more with b.N and Howard. It’s bad enough that all the writers (with the exception of Jibi) seemed inclined to riddle their posts with “urban hip-hop” ghetto-speak, then you’ve got the completely worthless posts about overpaid, narcissistic music artists who lack any sense of class, taste, or style and how they’ve bathed this gadget or that gadget in 24k gold, followed by BG’s over-the-top adulation or obsequious comments.
And don’t even get me started on the comments for the entries, most of which seemed to be posted by teenaged, TRL-obsessed half-wits.
Yeah I completely disagree with you bn. I like being able to come to one spot to get all of my news and I also like to laugh once in a while. Exclusives are great but they need things to fill i the gaps. Engadget is tired – at least BGR credits their sources
Wtf? This screams lamer who cares about playstation jewlery the overbinged toilet an the golf cart. You might as well rename this the boy pimp report.
Did anyone check out the website? For a product that costs upwards of $25k, you think they could have paid someone $500 to build a decent site.
It looks like the first site I built 10 years ago in FrontPage.
yeah, not a good one at all. what does this have to do with tech? The bling and non-techy toys need to go.
75% of zach’s post turn out to be Useless references to other blog reports.
can we get more “inside scoops” or wireless related gadgets, me seeing purses and other bling is a waste of my time..
C’mon BG, Jibi- dont let me down- you have earned too much of my respect to lose it so suddenly!!
you called it, Jibi and BG are the only one who dont just paraphrase from other blogs. As they bring on more writers the quality of stories drop drastically.
guys lighten up im sure its not easy running a site like this and you don’t always have exclusives everyday plus I for one love the content here it has upscale car and watch posts, hilarious subtle and witty humor, and on top of that more exclusive content than probably any site out there so relax and stop busting balls
So where do I sign up to get one…???…???
I’m suprised the other writers havn’t cut an pasted off a myspace page yet. Every other post sound like it’s coming from MTV heck I’m suprised they have not don any posts on cyptophones yet.
Don’t get me wrong. I really like BGR, I’m just worried that it is going downhill. More isn’t always better. Maybe BG would consider putting this off topic stuff in a separate page. And at least stick to mobile phones.
This is like opening the financial times and reading about the latest Simpsons episode cameo appearances.
All I’m saying is that BG isn’t an authority on these new, “off topic” news categories, so those news items are nothing more than “me too” posts. Stick to what you guys do best, please
.
I couldn’t agree with Howard anymore. I still like this site and check it everyday about 10 times, but some of these articles are getting out of hand. There are plenty other sites where you can go and check out things like this (like luxist). BGR needs to veto these bs stories. I’m not hating…and I wish BGR much success…but it seems like things have changed since BGR hit the airwaves of hot97 (hope you didn’t catch that success bug). It’s like 50 cent…the people loved him when he first came out because his music had that hunger and passion…once he made it, his music reflected that “I made it and don’t care anymore” attitude. His CD’s are officially bud plates.
Please, don’t forget your roots BGR. And don’t let these writers bring your name down. They’re garbage and irritating. I see this site as the goto site for mobile tech, and other tech exclusives. This story here is for gizmodo or some other oversaturated sub-par gadget site. This is supposed to be the elite BGR, let’s keep it that way.
Everyone makes s valid argument here, but I think the truth is in order to keep the site going, there’s the business aspect, thus advertising. If articles don’t come on a daily basis, then traffic slows down. That would just dent the cash flow. Since most of us don’t pay donations to the site and it’s upkeep, I guess they need to do whatever it takes to keep it going. Besides, it’s still better than most of the junk out there anyway. It’s just become a little watered down, that’s all…:)
I thought it was funny. I think you guys are taking this ALL WAY TOO SERIOUSLY. The Author was being funny.
And yes, bling is perfectly acceptable. Bling* Bling*
