Canadian Rock Band release delayed…again

Canadians just can’t catch a break, can they? The latest justification for reckless Canada-bashing comes in the form of another delay for the release of the popular Xbox 360 game, Rock Band. For those that are keeping count, it’s useful to note that the game has been available in America since the 20th of November. Originally scheduled for an early December drop, word on the street is that you poor Canucks won’t see retail availability until the 17th of this month. 10 days?? Yeah, we know. It’s awful. No word from game developers Electronic Arts, Harmonix, or MTV Games as to why the darn thing has been pushed back. On the bright side, it should give everyone up North a bit longer to brush up on their air drumming. Just don’t think you can tangle with the BGR crew, though. You don’t want it with us, believe it!

One of my buddies actually drove down to pick it up on launch night. Totally worth it.

Bear in mind that this is still an unconfirmed rumor. Harmonix has yet to make any official statement.
