We’re in luck, because Jabra made us look no further than the BT3030. The BT3030 is no ordinary stereo Bluetooth headset, and it doesn’t bother to look like it. It looks like a dog tag, which means you can hang it around your neck. Hot, right? On the side of it, you can switch headphones, and the keys on the front light up in blue. Here comes the part you can use if you have a possé. First of all, it has a reach of 10 meters, and that means that you don’t have to carry your phone, your people can carry it for you. Second of all, it supports two devices at the same time. And what’s more pimp than having one really cool phone? Having two. If you’d like mo’ info, then it gets you 7 hours of music playback, 8 hours of talk, and 230 hours of stand-by time. Just don’t tell the homies in the hood, ’cause this is our secret.

I actually like this design, I have bluetooth earpiece but never use it because I’m never sure what I should do with it if I’m not talking on it. People generally look like a’holes when the walk around with the thing in their ear.

I thought instead of fancy keys it actually had a solar panel on the front. It would be the first bluetooth headset, if your usage is low enough, that you would never have to remember to recharge.

So, people with dog tags are douche bags huh? Last time I checked, most people that wear dog tags are military. Are you saying that all US military service members are douche bags? Or do they just “look” like douche bags because they have a dog tag?

I like it because you get to use your own ‘phones, and since they didn’t try to super-miniaturize it, it should have a more reasonably sized battery. Also, even though it comes with the bead chain, you can just stick it in a shirt pocket or clip it to your belt or whatever. That makes it look less dog-taggy.

This is actually prety cool in my opinion. I already wear dog tags on a daily basis being a Marine. It probably won’t be marketed to the military crowd though.

Jabra does have their BT320s which is pretty similar to this but doesn’t look like a dog tag. It’s a bluetooth unit that you can wear around your neck or clip to your shirt and has some controls on it. You either use the headphones they give you or your own and you can use it as a bluetooth headset or for stereo bluetooth headphones.
