I think Verizon Wireless is planning on more than just lip service in their committment to Android, but some news reports are stating that they will support Android without joining OHA (???) Regardless, I think this announcement and their committment to LTE is indicative of a policy shift at Verizon Wireless.

Figured it would happen when Verizon dropped the lawsuit against Google. Just a matter of how they allow it to work in their world. At least Verizon is opening things up a bit.

Yep they’ll use it and then they will go and cripple there devices again, BUT BUT I would think if Android is open, that some reverse engineering mite fix any LOCK downs
