AT&T offers holiday cheer, free of charge

As if the Christmas music blasting out of every speaker, hole, and orifice in the world isn’t enough to drive you insane during this time of year, AT&T has decided to add some fuel to the holiday cheer fire. The company is offering a selection of holiday-themed ringtones, answer tones, and games to its customers. Existing customers can gain access to the free content by simply sending a text message with the word GIFT to short code 7230. Moments later….blammo! You’ll find yourself able to download the following bits of nauseating Christmas / Chanukah / Kwanzaa noise:

Ringtones

  • Jingle Bells
  • The Dreidel Song
  • Noche de Paz

Answer Tones

  • Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree by Cyndi Lauper
  • Wizards in Winter by Trans-Siberian Orchestra
  • Feliz Navidad by Jose Feliciano

Games

  • Santa’s Tower Bloxx by Digital Chocolate

Enjoy!

think this is part of them trying to change their image. ITs a good move.

Also, good job using the old logo but they had some better ones even earlier, how about trying one of those for the next ATT story.

bunch of garbage. Tried repeatedly on different days. Never worked.

Likely it was never intended for Windows Mobile users … like half the games/tones/rings on the normal AT&T Mall Shop. You navigate thru layers and layers of choices, only to be told whatever it is you are trying to preview/listen to/purchase isn’t compatible with your phone, “please pick another”
