The $75,000 toilet
Adorning your cell phone with Swarovski crystals is soooooo 2006. Want to step up your game and bling the next big thing? Well, someone seems to think that means icing your toilet. It’s new from the "Isis" collection from designer Jemal Wright out of Hollywood, Florida. And it can be yours for the meager price of $75k. Should that not be enough for you and your trust fund, he’s also got a sink available, and coming soon…a bathtub. Personally, we can think of a lot of better things to spend that kind of scratch on, but we’re also a big fan of the ridiculous, and this definitely qualifies.
You have to be joking. Anything that is that expensive needs to able to wipe my as* as well. I can’t se any and I mean any real reason to buy this. A toilet is meant to hold turds nothing else. Wow?! What a waste of time and money.

I understand that BGR is looking for writers, but maybe we should attempt to turn it into a sort of wiki/digg site, if its getting too bad. Another idea would be to feature news tips more prominently in the design, and have more readers tip you guys off. Finally, a bit of cross-promotion from engadget, where BGR started, wouldn’t hurt either. I must say, the writing’s better here than at engadget mobile.
