The AP has the best apologies

We’re going to use the excuse that Paris Hilton usually has the hottest new gadgets/cell phones as our tie-in to why we should post this. But to be honest, this really doesn’t have much to do with anything…we just thought this was hilarious:
GAUHATI, India (AP) - In a November story, The Associated Press incorrectly reported that Paris Hilton was praised by conservationists for highlighting the problem of binge-drinking elephants in northeastern India. Lori Berk, a publicist for Hilton, said she never made any comments about helping drunken elephants in India.

So you hit the mark with the through-back post about the StarTac clip on but then you go and post this. It isn’t even funny.

Wait wait wait, did he say ”through the back”? That sounds either painful, or like a good time!

Uh, if you need a news story. Find out more about the guy in korea who had his cell phone explode killing him over the weekend. If true, BG readers would like to find out more about the circumstances of how it happened. What model phone and battery type. Was it user error that trigger explosion. That would be news IMHO.

It’s actually about testing LTE.. but close enough.
And don’t forget, it IS Verizon.. they’ll be testing it until everyone else is using it.
