Got a sidekick slide. On my 3rd one since I got it in the 3rd week in december. Tmobile keeps sending me the slide instead of an LX. I’d take the LX but they won’t give me one. I hate my Slide at this point.also turns off when I go to my memory card to look at pics.stupid phone.

i have the blackberry pearl and now the slide, both are great phones… i have a simple solution for the hard reset issue, that’s if u haven’t already fixed it… well what i did to fix the reset problem is put a few strips of tape on the bottom end of the battery opposite of the battery contacts. worked like a charm.

i called customer service today about this problem with my slide .. except i thought it was just my device. i was really unhappy to hear i was getting sent the lx because i don’t want it. i had gotten the slide because it’s so small and i absolutely love it. i think it’s a great phone despite this proble and i also had trouble constantly trying to get on aim (an unknown failure had ocurred. please try again later) i really hope motorola fixes the slide and t-mobile will send me another one, i don’t want to get stuck with the lx for 2 years .. if i can’t have the slide i want the blackberry pearl
