Just for the record: Amazon.com phone costs ARE lower than AT&T’s sale prices. However, they include activation fees ($36?). So add that to the cost of the phone.

If you ASK the ATT rep to waive the activation fee, they will often times do it. Especially if you are signing up for a decent plan.

Just keep the TOTAL cost out of your pocket in mind…

This sale has been going on all week (11/18 – 11/25). Starting Black Friday, for the weekend, most all of the other Samsung Phones are also 50% off.. At least thats the promo in new york.

@pixar yes the 8310 dosn’t hold a candle to thee 8320 or my blackberry 8800,8820 and form wht several curve owners have told me it squeaks the curve is the only decent selection rest of that stuff is crap

Well, as some people have pointed out, this is already the price on Amazon for some of these. However, those are for new contracts. A lot of people can’t just cancel and make a new contract, even if their contract expired, because they are on a family plan with other people who are still under contract.

However, if you go into the store and haggle, you can probably get this deal, even if you are only doing a 1 year extension on your contract.

That is why these are good deals, you negotiate your contract at the same time.

How can I take advantage of the $99 BB 8310 without signing up for the 2 yr. contract? I’m already an AT&T customer with about 1 year left on my current contract…I have the Pearl now, I want the Curve!!! Especially @ $99! Anyone have any ideas?

Gal is on a Blackberry most times. He just never learned how to spell or speak for that matter. He learned from speaking with hackers and developed a mix of english/l33t speak that neither group can comprehend. Just bear with him.

Ed, i like the apple cider comment, very good. And true, they are riding a very good quarter and there is no need to cut prices too much.
