AT&T gets LG Vu, Sony Ericsson K850, and iPhone business edition?
We know the LG Vu has been trying to make its way onto to AT&T, and heck, even the Sony Ericsson K850i. What’s weird here, is that AT&T / Apple is trying to push the iPhone to business users. Business users? Finally! This internal AT&T slide shows us some of the juicy tidbits on what we should soon expect. If the iPhone were to go ‘business edition," they’d have to offer the same discount large corporations already get, though. There would also most likely have to be a way to integrate the iPhone device with a corporation’s Exchange server. Evolve applications? You betcha’!

I guess that means a cameraless version of the iphone will be made?
This makes sense since Premier has been showing iPhone options under account management…
not likely. More likely, it means that they will work harder to support Exchange, and maybe even support BES servers. Also, with the SDK software releasing in February, it’s very likely business apps supporting Microsoft office products (opening/ creating Word and Excel)will be developed to bring the device on par w/ other PDAs out there right now. Now if they could build support for MMS and stereo bluetooth….
Synergy, either that or one you can cover with a shutter. I hope they do BOTH that way all needs will be addressed. The type of business I am in we actually USE camera phones to transmit images for engineering & Implementation support. So Biz phones with Exchange Capabilities but WITHOUT cameras leave us in the lurch!!
Oh. My. God. I’d give my left arm for a K850i on Sprint. Why do you have to be be so sweet, SERO?
Where did they get the name Ansel for the K850? And why is it going to take them til March to release it…?
Ansel Adams…
That LG VU looks pretty sweet and duh the SE too. But i gotta wait til’ January and March for those huh? Oh well good things take time, great things come all at once.
WOW the SE k850i on att lol it will probably be $400 with 2 year contract figuers they get the k850i but not the n95 thats bs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The K850 won’t be $400 with contract. The price will most likely $250 or less considering last year the w810 was selling for over $500 in the summer and by the time Cingular picked it up (end of September) they had it for $200 with 2yr contract. March would be about 6 months after initial availability which is typical of the time it takes AT&T to butcher, I mean customize the ROM…
yeah, yeah, yeah…the LG Vu looks cool!
Any chance the Vu will be released by ATT in time for Xmas?

or http://www.voyager-lg.com for the LG Voyager, since they are very similar phones.
n95 will be coming this July 2008 to AT&T
