AT&T introduces first HSUPA-capable USB Aircard

Ready for some uber-fast HSUPA uploading action without that bulky PC Card to weigh you down? AT&T has just introduced the USB Connect 881 USB Aircard. It appears to be physically identical to the old U875 card, save for the fact that it can now upload your files at real world speeds of around 800 Kbps. The best part? It’s only $49.95 with a two year data contract. The device also ships with the client software pre-installed on the modem itself. No driver downloads or install discs necessary. All told, this is one of the best wireless data card options on the market today, and is available immediately from your local AT&T store. Just don’t say we didn’t yell you it was coming

Att is supposed to have up to 3.6 mbps on HSDPA. At least that’s what my Tilt supports…along with a 32GB microSDHC card so att could just be behind…

come on, does no one see that 800 is ATT’s upload speed?

Gal you really lose some hacker cred with not being able to read, 800 upload spedd for this card and your link for Tmo is 1.8 download speed and thats half what ATT offers. Also Tmo has no 3G in the US, your link is the UK Tmo.

Soooo, should I leave sprint for this or what?

No, leaving Sprint would be stupid. EVDO gets real world speeds greater than 1mb/sec, and EVDO REV A is slighty faster. All this does is bring AT&T to this centuries data, though still very much lacking behind verizon and sprint.
