Blackberry Unite! coming soon to the US?
We’ll file this one under the "rumor" tag for now, but BlackBerry Cool seems to think that RIM’s new consumer BlackBerry server software should be making its way over to the States by early December. Sounds pretty good to us. In case you’re a bit late to the party, BlackBerry Unite! is software you run on a mini-server that allows up to 5 BlackBerry’s to share documents, photos, media, calendars, contacts, and much more. Think of it as BES for the minions. Its already launched in Europe by way of Telefonica, and given their decision to offer the product free of charge, we wouldn’t be surprised to see it offered for free here with handset purchases. Finally, we can all realize our dreams of becoming BES administrators. Yes!

How old is that blackberry in the picture? That might be the biggest thing I’ve ever seen.
Yeah, nice picture. how about putting one from this century?
If she puts her ear up to that laptop can she hear the ocean?
@ Ned
That’s one of the 72xx models. I had one and it’s not much larger (width-wise) than a Samsung Blackjack or a Moto Q.
lmao that all the comments so far are on the pic.
Whatever guys the fact of the matter here is that the lady has a tiny head not a large BB.
looks like a 6230, some one needs some new photos.
victor, the phone is huge. her head does look small as well.
I actually thought that Unite! was released in Spain too, but apparently it’s only been announced; the software still isn’t available for download. I wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up getting it at the same time as them.
I think shez hot lol!
that thing is about the same size as my old commodore64.
A quick couple of things…
1. Looks like a 7230 series judging by the tone of blue the device is.
2. BES admin? Last thing I want to do is take one of the things I do at work home and dealt with that.
3. You actually CAN hear the ocean from a 7230 series.
Is that Brooke Banner?
haha definitely I thought it was Brooke as well. Hysterical that your as messed up as I am.
You guys are so behind. The device pictured is the 9300 Brick. Check it out at http://www.blackberrybrick.com
But seriously, it’s funny that everybody (including myself) instantly noticed that big a@# phone!
@Roman411
Agreed. Being an Admin stays at the office. I have a user in upper management that refuses to upgrade from her 6230. I think that might be her.
