Black Friday: T-Mobile Fly Free

Most major stores offer incredible door buster deals on the Friday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday. This year T-Mobiile is no exception. They are offering a free airline flight to new and existing users. Yeah, you heard that right. All new customers who sign up for a new line with a myFaves plan will get a free flight from one of 59 major US cities to one of 10 destinations (New York City, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Miami, Orlando, Dallas, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Los Angeles). Existing myFaves customers can sign up after extending their contract 2 more years and be entered to win one of 5,000 free flights specially designated for existing customers. Here’s the best part: this deal isn’t just offered on Black Friday, but any customer who signs up for a two-year service agreement with T-Mobile betwee November 23–25, 2007 gets a flight. If you’ve been wanting to switch to T-Mobile, you might want to wait till November 23rd and get a free flight to see Grandma Vegas along with that new T-Mobile Shadow.

I still have not received my voucher, or any correspondance regarding the promotion. When I call, I am told they see no reason I should not have received the voucher. My boyfriend received a letter saying he was eligible, but he has not received a voucher either.

    Ok folks,

we all know they are a bunch of crooks…so…

    1) ANY and ALL correspondence to them ( TLC marketing or t-mobile) including the applications, should be sent by certified mail, return receipt requested.

    2) If you do not get your tickets, sue them in small claims court for the value of the tickets. Anyone can do this - this is your right as an American citizen. DO NOT wait for a class action suit - you will get pennies on the dollar. You WILL win in small claims court, and they will feel it a lot more. Power to the people!

I have requested my “free” fare three times and each time they tell me I have not filled the form out correctly. No one seems to be able to help and the one person that said she could help said it may be up to 2 weeks before they can get back with me. Everything has to be requested thur the postal service. This is crazy in today’s commputer and overnight service. BS…….

I am having a problem with T-mobile free flight promotion as well. I signed up for the service on Nov. 23rd. My receipt shows date ordered is 11/23/07. But since I have a fraud alert on my credit and this was a weekend, they could verify my account until the following weekday. I was told by the representative that as long as I applied and purchased the phone on that weekend, that I qualified. He also stated that I had until Dec 26th to activate the phone which is printed in fine print on the rebate phone. Well, T-Mobile denied the request because my phone wasn’t activated until Nov. 30th. This is BS. I am going to take this to court as well. Their forms says, “Offer valid November 23, 2007 through November 25, 2007…Must be active by December 26, 2007…”
