Motorola MOTOPURE H12 Bluetooth headset unboxing!
We just got one of these in here at BGR world headquarters, and had a chance to play around with it. From early findings, we’re actually quite disappointed at the "noise cancellation" that the headset supposedly offers. Well, that’s CrystalTalk for you, right? The great part about the headset, is that it is actually one of the most comfortable headsets we’ve ever tried out. We heard test subjects loud and clear on our end, but they could point out every time that we were on a headset. The verdict? If you’re looking for real noise-cancellation, the Aliph Jawbone is the only way to go. If you’re looking for something smaller, little better looking, and extremely comfortable (let’s not forget the two included stylish desktop chargers) the Motorola MOTOPURE H12 is a sure shot win.

jim,
That’s what she said.
It looks great but from what you say, it sounds like it’s pretty crappy.

I bought this one 3 days ago and the only downside is that for some reason I cant use it on UMA. I have a old HS-850 that loves UMA without fault. HS-850 for UMA and H12 for the road.

Had this now for 4 days. The first 2 days it was great but in the past 2 days the sound got a lot less. I have paired it with V9, Tilt, BB8800 and Pearl and all where the same result. Another observation (it happens mostly with the Tilt) every time it connects from sleep it gives out some harsh static/garbage noise. I either have a bad unit or the whole lot is like that. May be I will try another unit and see if it improves or not. In comparison to the Samsung WEP 500, I think the WEP 500 is more comfortable and it’s noise cancellation is much better as other parties were never able to tell I was on a headset compared to this one (too bad I lost the WEP
).

Just bought it. Sadly the noise cancellation does not work all that great. The guy at AT&T told me that the Jawbone is better but I went for the 20.00 rebate and now i have a headset that looks kind of cool on david beckham but sounds like total crap in noisy environments.

I CONCURE WITH OTHER REVIEWERS;
I TRIED TWO DIFFERENT H12′S; BOTH PROVIDED POOR TRANSMIT QUALITY;
WHEN RECEIVER VOLUMES WERE TURNED UP, THEY CRACKLED; AND, THERE WERE TIMES THAT I RECEIVED TRASH NOISES THAT I NEVER RECEIVED FROM MY PLANTRONIC 655;
I’LL BE TRYING A DIFFERENT COMPANY’S HEADSET THE NEXT TIME.
