Have a small business? RIM offers a new BES “lite”

If you crave what a Blackberry Enterprise Server offers, but think it’s silly to spend thousands for your 5-employee business, RIM has come up with a new solution for you. It’s called "Blackberry Professional Software," and offers similar features to a BES, without the cost. Features include similar encryption and 3rd party app support, and even features a streamlined installation process in which the software scans your PC / server and recommends a configuration. It can even be installed on the same PC that houses the native e-mail application, such as MS Exchange. It’s only $499 for 5 licenses, or $849 for 10 (expandable up to 30 licenses). And, if your business is just getting started, they’ll offer you 5 licenses free with the purchase of 5 handsets.

Thanks, to everyone that sent this in!
