iTunes 7.5 just around the corner?
Apple, fresh on the heels of the recent Leopard release, might be dropping an update to their iTunes media player software. iTunes 7.5 is rumored to be released sometime within the next week. The update will provide a number of low-level fixes, so don’t expect a ton of new functionality here. The software promises to improve stability and make dealing with duplicate files a bit easier, as well as streamlining the iTunes to iTunes Plus upgrade path. It should also include support for the upcoming European iPhone releases. Nothing crazy, but bug fixes and enhanced stability are never bad, right? Keep em coming, Apple.

Cool. my first first comment. I want the 16GB Iphone!!! When should we expect it?
Cool cool.
I just hope they make it play a bit nicer with Vista.
I would like it if they put out two types of iTunes like one for those who own an iPhone and for those (like me) who don’t because all that stuff that comes along in iTunes that’s meant for the iPhone is unused and useless to me.
Also I think they should have the option of letting it play nice with any device but that would ruin Apple so I doubt that would happen.
a few days late on the story Joshua and friends.
Jeff B, other than sync and ringtones what else is iphone related on iTunes?
Seems like this will be a minor update but I want to see if they push an iphone update with this.
Everyone get ready for the Euro iphone stories…..thats you Galvatron.
In the settings, the size of the software, and they hide little things all over iTunes for it.
The ringtones icon that doesn’t go away in the store and everywhere is really annoying. I’ll get rid of it but the next time I open it up there it will be taunting me with that damned bell.
Just sayin’ I would like a version that doesn’t have the crap for the iPhone.
I just hope they come out with an Ipod Classic update soon…I am tired of not being able to play games in fear of loosing ratings and play counts…not to mention the general overall laggyness of the ipod…BAH
Now that Leopard is out, which includes To-Dos and Notes within the Mail application, think it’s time that iTunes supports synchronizing Notes between the computer and the iPhone!
I hope they fix it to where I can burn disc again. For some odd reason I cant burn disc it saying that it can’t read my buner….good thing I got an ipod.
Jeff B.,
I understand, that bell can get into your nightmares…
