Motorola Q9h just emailed, said AT&T launch is official
We couldn’t say we’re surprised in the least, but the Motorola Q9h has finally made its way to the network of AT&T. We’ve already checked it out before everyone else, threw it on a totally different network, revealed some internal docs, and played with it quite a bit, yet that doesn’t mean we’re not hype about it! The Motorola Q9h is available for $299.99 with a 2-year agreement after $50 mail-in-rebate, and $549.99 with full retail pricing. AT&T’s product page lists BlackBerry Connect as coming in 2008, so we’re just going to have to hex edit some .cab files in the meantime! Q9h is available starting…now.

Wouldn’t you still be able to take advantage of the $50 mail-in rebate, even if you don’t sign a two year contract?
Plus, thanks to my last Moto purchase, I have a 10% off coupon.
I think I’ll wait till December/January and see if there is any price drop.

AT&T COR store charged me $499 full retail with a $50 MIR. It’s expensive but dang, so is any device when you are paying full boat. The want nearly that much for a new RAZR and the Q9H is soooooooooooo much more and soooooooooooo very sweet.

Interestingly, in the AT&T press release they state that for a limited time it will be sold at $199 with a 2 year contract!?!?

The confusion continue with this product!

Yeah, the press release is screwy, because the foot notes don’t match up correctly.

Why do folks want to put Blackberry Connect on a Win-Mo device???? Makes no sense to me - if you want a BB, get one. If you want to access your mail and contacts, etc. directly to Exchange w/o a BES server and a BB license get a Win-Mo phone.

Spudboy: Because some companies only provide corporate email access through Blackberry Exchange Servers. In that case, a WinMo device won’t work without Blackberry Connect. That would force many people to use a Blackberry even if they wanted the WM device.

Any one know when its supposed to hit the $200 price tag. Gizmodo has on thier site that tomorrow for sure. Anyone else want to confirm?

Ahhhh, the Q9h is upon us now and I can’t wait to get my grubby hands on one. No really I have to go wash my hands they are pretty dirty.
ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT REBATES; YOUR ANSWER IS HERE:
YOU CAN MAIL IN ANY REBATE WITH ANY PHONE, I MAILED IN 2 REBATES FOR MY TILT AND THE GUYS SAID I COULD ONLY DO 1. CINGULAR HAS ACKNOWLEDGED BOTH OF THEM AND THEY SHOULD BE PROCESSED IN ABOUT 10-12 WEEKS AND ANOTHER WEEK OR SO FOR THE DAMNED USPS.
THERE IS NO LIMIT ON THE REBATES AT ALL.

Actually I just read the fine print. You can only have a “Limit one rebate for each qualified device and wireless number”. So technically your only supposed to get one rebate. But let me know how that goes!

I actually printed that page out and brought it with me, they agreed it was in print but they had nothing in the system and their was no date to enforce the $199 price. At least if it hits $199 promo within 30 days I get the discount.

Here is some unqualified logic, that kinda makes sense on the whole rebate debacle (this phone is haunted!).
The available MIR for $50 Expires 11/3/2007, so look out for a new MIR form starting well could be as soon as 11/4/2007.

You can also obtain the rebate through the Premier Website (corporate accounts). However, there the discount seem to be expired already (a popup indicates that the rebate expired 11/03/2007), and even if you pick the designated dataplan. The total amount is not deducted and there is no information about MIR’s or other information as to how to obtain the rebate, despite that fact that the site states that there is a $150 discount available.
I guess AT&T continues to mess this phone up!

I am waiting for a reply from my rep. with regard to the Premier Website offer. Which continues to state that there is a $199 price-tag for the Q9, but when you try to order or upgrade via the website the discount is expired by 11/3/2007, and does not reflect the total $ amount in your cart. So i’ll return when I have more!
The scenario with this phone just continue to amaze me

Just to follow up, my rep. told me that the Premier offer is the same MIR as the normal website. So, I guess that means that corporate/governmental users have to track paper work and get “cash-cards”? Sounds a little far out to me.
