If you are not using this in the corporate world, I would recommend a windows device since Blackberrys on their own don't offer much to an individual. None of them are on the 3G network and have limited applications that you can install. My critera when deciding on a device was: 3G GPS MicroSD Windows 6 QWERTY Keyboard Size I went with the Q because of all the features above and size did play a lot into it. I do think $300 is a bit high but I had been waiting for months and couldn't put it off any longer. I expect a price drop in the next few months. I get a corporate rate thru my company which is 40% off manufactured retail price which ended up being $300. If you are available to buy at the new customer/upgrade price, its $350 with a $50 mail in rebate. I went with my corporate plan to avoid waiting for a rebate check but it came out to the same. I do think $300 is a bit high but I had been waiting for months and couldn’t put it off any longer. I expect a price drop in the next few months.

It's loud as is the ear piece. The LOUDEST phone I've had with AT&T. The signal strength is also amazing. I live in a 3G area but never had the 3G signal at home. Now I get full bars and 3G anywhere in the house. I use the Windows Live as and it works great too but if you want a real GPS experience, Telenav is well worth the money.
