Motorola Q9c to debut on Sprint same day as the BlackBerry Pearl!
Trying to crank out those holiday sales, Sprint? Well, you could have done worse, we’ll certainly give you that. In what is looking to be the most jam-packed mobile phone holiday season across all carriers in the U.S., Sprint will begin offering the Motorola Q9c alongside the BlackBerry Pearl 8130, both on 11/23. Pricing info? $449 for full retail, but we heard it will go for as little as $199 with a 2-year agreement.

The difference between the q9m that verizon has now and the q9c is that it does not heve the music centric like the dual home screen and the black and red colors. Its more for the business your not the music user.
Does the Q9c look like the Q9h (GSM) or the Q9m (CDMA)?
Because the Q9h and Q9m look a little different, especially the keyboards.
The Q9c probably looks like the Q9m because it’s CDMA too, right?

the significant difference is q9 = wm6 standard, and q9c = wm6 professional!
So what are they doing about their horrible customer service? New phones don’t matter if customers still get treated like crap. That Q9C resembles the blackberry 8800…..pathetic. It won’t resolve or remedy the huge 3rd quarter losses.
I love BGR with exclusive news and first hands on. This is really surprise me when I read this, I even yelled, hahaha. I am waiting for any phone with Windows Mobile OS from Sprint, like Motorola Q9C or Samsung Blackjack. I prefer WM smartphone over Professional (Pocket PC) because WM smartphone seems easier to use that PPC. I have Treo 755P now and hopefully I will like Moto Q9C. What I want from that phone is multitasking, thin form-factor, loud speaker phone and nice keyboard.
I will get it, if I don’t like it I will go back to my Treo 755P.
This is just sad that Sprint just announces this and it is going to be released b4 AT&T’s Q9h global which was announce several months ago… If I didn’t love the benefits of gsm (sim cards) and 3G I’d defect to vzw or t-mo… Damn, AT&T get your freakin act together!

The MOTO Q 9h GLOBAL has been out since last Saturday in major metropolitan markets. $499 full retail after instant $50 rebate to exsisting customers, $349 after $50 MIR for new customers, $399 for upgrades.

T Mobile uses SIM cards as well. It’s Verizon and Sprint on CDMA.

Have you actually seen one on sale? It’s the first I’ve heard of it since I’ve been waiting on AT&T to finally release this phone.

Yeah I know T-Mo has uses sim tech, but I said what I like about AT&T is the sim technology “AND” 3G combo. There is no 3G on T-Mo just yet, but when there is I just may defect!!!

Uhhh, I live in a major AT&T market (DFW Metroplex, Dallas) and I have yet to find this phone. Also, it is neither on AT&T’s website nor their premier site. It’s supposedly “Coming Soon”
at&t held a q9h training last tues in our area but the phone’s have yet to be released until next week they are saying. Before Sprint releases their’s.
Actually, there is 3G on tmobile. First phone was released today, “the shadow”. More to follow.
In regards to Q 9C, Verizon clerk says they have rebate information in their system on the phone but he thinks it is just for larger government contracts. He also said it does not have a camera. BTW, why is Verizon constantly trying to steer me away from any Q models? I have the original and it has been great.

I expected the Sprint Q9 to be based on Verizon’s 9m, but I was hoping otherwise. The 9h seems superior in every way: Faster CPU, more memory, better camera, and built-in GPS.
Par for the course. AT&T comes out with the better phone then the CDMA carriers release a lesser version afterwards.
i cant wait… Q9c + sero = good game. how reliable do you think this is? does the date seem accurate? What source did BGR get this from?

i just called sprint to confirm(i know) and the guy who answered said now but he had got an email saying the new phones for Sprint that are coming out.
He said
a sprint iphone made by htc. He called it “the touch” or something but he had a really heavy southern accent.

umm the touch and that stupid beyonce phone have been out for weeks, and the blackberry pearl is coming out the same day as this. and its official that there coming out on black friday. a lil slow on the news i guess…
I work for best buy the moto q was taken off the shelf on 11/15/2007. I did not know this so I purchased it on the 14th. We do have the moto q9c in our system to be put on the shelf the day after thankgiving I believe or shortly their after before december. I will be returning the Q for the Q9c.
