BlackBerry Pearl 8130 confirmed for 11/23 launch on Sprint!
All you loyal Sprint-loving BlackBerry users will sure as hell be pleased as punch with this one! We’ve received a 100% confirmation on the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 launch for Sprint, and it’s November the 23rd. Yeah, that’s Black Friday, guys! We tried to give y’all the drop on this a while back, but now we’ve confirmed it. Also, a quick heads up — the color of the Pearl on Sprint is amethyst. Save those dollars, port those numbers, and mark 11/23 on your Sprint calendar!

it’s called amethyst but it actually looks more like black or dark gray.
It is still a cool color. Believe it or not there are people who do care about what Sprint is doing.

I need real confirm from someone other then a store rep. I know more about the phone lineup then anyone in those stores. Half the time I am there I help some poor soul with questions and the reps just sit there with numb looks on their faces

Why does everyone keep calling it the pearl II? News flash… It’s the first CDMA pearl, not a pearl II.
come on why are we to believe this? it looks just like the bogus release date form we saw regarding Verizon’s release of the Pearl. Pre-order date 10/26 – NEVER happened. BG you are loosing your creditability.
It’s the Pearl 2, but for CDMA. It’s redesigned with the keyboard, memory slot, and has GPS. When ATA&T gets the Pearl 2, it will be the same design as this one except will have WiFi I think instead of GPS but will be the second version of the Pearl they’ll be getting, the 8120. CDMA peeps just just got skimped on having a first version of the Pearl and are getting the 2nd generation of it as their first phone. Someone correct me if I’m wrong?

Just spoke to my biz rep…looks like we are looking at Nov. 8th as the day. No mention of pre-order option on his computer, but who knows. This is also for Business sales, so maybe we get lucky and web sales start tomorrow???
