One-touch Jailbreak for iPod Touch and iPhone
The iPhone / iPod Touch dev scene has been an incredible asset for anyone lucky enough to get their hands on one of the devices. Their tireless efforts have provided us with a SIM unlock, app installer, countless applications, and much more, all in spite of Apple / AT&T’s efforts to shut them down. The most recent offering from the community comes in the form of a one-click Jailbreak solution. The software is compatible with both the iPhone and the iPod Touch, and offers a slick Safari-based Jailbreak method. Simply point your iPhone’s browser to http://jailbreakme.com and follow the onscreen prompts. 4-8 seconds later — Voila! This process, like all current 1.1.1 Jailbreak efforts, utilizes the much-publicised .tiff exploit in mobile safari. As always, be warned that this may affect your manufacturer’s warranty, so proceed at your own will, please.

Wow no. Apple fanboys/apoligists. Hmm maby ther still in ther ichappel worsiping steve jobs.
Whats really cool about this is that some-one could clone it, remove all the prompts, and jailbreak any random iPhone user’s phone when they visit a malicious website!!! They can then install anything else they want, such as an app that will quietly upload your music collection to the internet, or send spam e-mail to all your contacts. They could even unlock your iPhone without your knowledge or consent. Just imagine the uproar then when Apple bricks 50% of all iPhone user’s phones!
:sigh: Isn’t the iPhone wonderful!!
no Gal, just nothing to comment about on this one. It is what it is.

Now get back to work.
Man I promise I come on here just to see Gav and Test go at it….LOL
Yeah they do work tirelessly, but they do get paid enough.

Leopard Upgraders Getting “Blue Screen of Death”

Upgrades
Z80xxc! writes “Some Mac users upgrading to Apple’s new Leopard operating system are encountering long delays on reboot — an experience they liken to the Windows ‘Blue Screen of Death.’ While some of those upgrading were able to access their computer after waiting for as long as several hours, others were forced to do a complete reinstall. Some suspect that a framework called ‘Application Enhancer’ by Unsanity LLC may be causing the problem, but there has been no official word from Apple at this point.”
[+] haha, macosx, !bsod, upgrades, apple (tagging beta)

Gal, Apple already posted an explanation and it happens with a new OS.

but the Target job sounds better.
didn’t work for me
Galv – yea they do have night crews they are illegal immigrants.
Back to the 1 touch jailbreak. It also patches the TIFF exploit it uses after you install it. If your iPhone is already jailbroken you can install the TIFF exploit patch through installer.app in the Tweaks section. I just jailbroke my iPhone just for the TIFF exploit fix. Bar any major improvements in a new firmware ill be sticking with this one..
If we do this and there is a problem with our iPhone (Ive already gotten it relpaced twice), will they know that we hacked it?
Is it just me or does the Safari just crash?
Safari closes yes, that means it worked.
and Justin, if you don’t restore the device then yes they can see that you have done the jailbreak.
i was just wondering is there anyway that apple or anyone can find out that you have hacked the ipod touch. Im really interested in doing this to my ipod touch just don’t know very much. If anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it.Thank you
