Alltel seems to have a decent track record of getting a lot of the phones that Verizon gets, only without the whole "remove all the features that people like the most" part that Verizon enjoys. So please, Alltel. Get bigger. Challenge Verizon for CDMA comparison. I'm waiting for you. Sprint is bleeding customers and has lowered its credit standards so far the business model is only going to get worse. US Cellular would be a much better target, but the TDS brothers will never sell as long as they are breathing. I would suspect that purchase would make little sense. They focus on what is importent and execute very well.
