Sidekick LX user’s manual arrives on T-Mobile’s site
As if we needed any more evidence that the Sidekick LX is dropping in the very, very neat future, T-Mobile has gone ahead and uploaded the device manual onto their support site. Seeing as we’ve had our hands on a Sidekick LX of our very own for quite some time now, there’s not a whole lot of new information here, but it’s a good read nonetheless for anyone waiting impatiently for the upcoming release date. One notable piece of info, however, is that the LX’s media player appears to support a much wider range of filetypes than the Sidekick 3. The new LX will happily playback MP3s, WMAs, AACs, MIDIs, AIFFs, and WAVs. The poor Sidekick 3 only supports MP3s. How very old school. Downloadin ringtones in2 da lx should b possible. My bestie was able 2 download her own themes n ringtones in 2 da slide, so im pretty sure da lx can do da same, onli a matter of computer techniques, wen I solve it ill inform ya’ll

I don’t think its possible. The sk lx is a complete waste of money. You could’ve gotten any texting device that has more features than this con artist. I broke my MDA and got this as an replacement. Biggest regret ever. How in the world do you pay $400, a monthly bill plus 19.99 service and can’t even download email attachments to use as wallpapers, ringtones, or use your own photos as wallpaper, music as ringtones, have a touchscreen..can you even set up picture caller id(isn’t this standard for like almost all phones)…shortly: this piece of shit is getting refunded and I’l stick with my SMARTPhone.
you guys iced and cb are probably the same person Sidekick Lx DOES NOT support custom ringtones =_=;; those internet sites DON’T work either if you want backgrounds or “themes” you can make your own and insert them into your sidekick. and i got the ota update for video everybody should be getting theirs.
