Official T-Mobile RAZR 2 V8 shots

Remember that RAZR V8 phone we told you about this morning? You know, the one headed to T-Mobile on the 15th of October? We’ve happened on a bit eye candy for those of you eagerly awaiting the device’s impending launch. These shots are T-Mobile’s official product shots, and indicate that the device launch is well on its way (but you already knew that). Nothing mind blowing here, but for anyone in the market for a new handset on T-Mobile, especially one sporting a brand new OS, 2 GB of internal memory, and a couple of beautiful LCD screens, this should tide you over until next week. One more shot after the jump. Enjoy!

Thanks, Marco!

I got to mess around with a demo, and all i can say is that I’m impressed. Motorola stepped their game up from the last RAZR and K1 and Z3 as well. The phone is all around dope, 2G of internal memory is really sweet, picture quality is great. The phone reads text messages and emails, something that a stoner might find useful or just lazy people, or maybe someone learning english, i dunno. The lcd on the front is nice and large, you can actually read your sms from the front window via touch screen. The phone is all around nice, big up yo chest Motorola!

The fact is the external screen is small than internal screen. OS “MotoMagX”, processor 500 Mhz (second faster mobile phone processor, the fastest mobile phone processor is “Motorola Rokr Z6″ (624 Mhz), the biggest external screen in the class, touch sensitive with vibrate (already patented, sorry… “LG”, you can’t cheat from “Motorola” like “LG” cheat “touch sensitive” in “LG Chocolate” from “Motorola”), at the moment only “Motorola Razr 2 V9M” can watch video on external screen.

If come out on Verizon. I hope “Verizon’ not change the interface because original “MotoMagX” interface is really nice.

Ive been following and wanting a razr2 since I saw the first pics from bengalboy almost a year ago. at&t really let me down with the mahogany v9. T-mobile may not have 3g, but they are getting the best razr2 o.s. and color in my opinion.. thanks for nothing at&t. score one for t-mobile. signed, a bitter at&t customer.

Well I’m a happy as a hippo T-Mobile customer and I love the V8 (Linux my dear friends!) so I would certainly not argue with you. But you can always get an unlocked V8 and fully use it on ATT, unlike me with 3G phones.

Actually, you can only control music pause/back/forward from the external screen. The thing that’s most annoying is that the phone will still give you fun little messages to remind you that the tmobile team seems to have fallen asleep while working with Motorola on the phone. What am I talking about? oh, say the alarm. You set the alarm, the alarm goes off and on the external screen is a “stop (or something)” / “snooze” option. These are presented as options as if you were to just press one or the other without having to open you phone but, no, you can’t. Same for messages that come in: “Message received: View / Ignore” Looks like you should be able to just read the message (and you can with Sprint’s version) but, no, you can’t. It’s just annoying is all. Otherwise, the phone seems to be tops so far.

Actually to read a text message all you have to do is press the small button on the left and use the buttons you use to control the volume to choose between the different options.
