These phones are real and part of the 2008 portfolio. Motorola’s CEO of BeNeLux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) confirmed this.

Oh well, I was crossing my finger that the Scarven was truth and the 5 mpx Kodak lens too,
do you know when they gonna realease this phone?… cause the Sony Ericsson k850 is already available, and I will buy it in november if motorola won’t release something new.

The pictures were taken at a presentation that was given by Motorola for the Dutch press and other invitees from Motorola.

If this is indeed a ‘pre-meditated hoax’ from Moto, than they did a good job as far as credibility is concerned.

Only time will tell wether this was a hoax or not. . .
