TiVo gains Rhapsody support

Real Networks has had quite a year, first partnering with Verizon and MTV, and now this. The company has just announced that they will be bringing their subscription-based streaming music service to a TiVo box near you. TiVo and Real have joined forces to bring you the craziest combination of pre-recorded TV and streaming audio this side of the Yangtze river. The service integrates with your existing Rhapsody account, providing one-click access to your entire music catalog, as well as any of a number of pre-determined Rhapsody Radio channels. You will also be presented with track name, album art, artist bio’s, and a whole lot more. No word on exactly when this will launch, or whether it will command a premium over your existing TiVo/Rhapsody bill, but rest assured that all will be revealed soon.
