Google launches more iPhone-customized web apps?

We’re not certain if these are iPhone-specific web applications or just Google’s own mobile version, but they work quite nicely and efficiently on the iPhone. Google Calendar already got an iPhone upgrade, so it only seems fit that Gmail, News, and Photos would too, right? Check out the link from any mobile including an iPhone, and let’s put these online tools to the test.

Thanks, Gregg!

Doesn’t work on the iPhone, it redirects the browser to http://www.google.com/m

But works well and since a while now on Nokia E/N Series

I’m currently hooked on Google Reader (http://reader.googl.com) which is an RSS feed reader. It has replaced Firefox for this function and there is a Wii and Mobile formated versions as well. Very Good stuff.

For the Blackberry it will install a Google Services app that includes GMail, Maps, Search & News. They basically install links to each service under your Blackberry apps (like ESPN did). Blogger, Reader, Calendar, Photos, GOOG-411 were not available as an installed service, they will however function by following the link off of http://mobile.google.com

One of the nice things about the google suite is I don’t have to install a client on my phone to use the apps. How is yahoo! go better?

Yahoo Go 2.0 is pretty sweet, have on my Blackjack and like to use for a little 5mins o’ fun every once in a long while but Google beats it. Since I never use yahoo go it doesn’t really matter.
MS LiveSearch all the way!! Now that’s some shit that rules y’all.

Yahoo Go 2.0 is more interactive. There maps are 2x faster and you can sinc your Yahoo address book with your Blackberry OTA. And thats just a couple of things. Goolge maps new V1.6.2 is awful. No more search location, freezes up ALL the time when you try to make a call from google maps “search blackberryforums” on why the new google maps blows. The gmail app is great but NO spell check.Gmail needs to come up with an all in one application and get the bugs out of exisisting applications. Do they think we really want to put four or five google apps on our phones?
