Remember our Verizon Ninja? He’s back with launch dates for Verizon’s big 4. As you can see from the image above, the Samsung Juke will launch online on October 19th, but is available for pre-order on October 9th. When have Verizon devices been available for pre-order? Anyway, the LG Venus will be available for pre-order October 19th and available online November 4th. The one most people have been waiting for — the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 — will grace your leather cases and USB chargers on November 8th, with pre-ordering starting October 26th. Finally, we’ve got the LG Voyager punching in for pre-ordering on November 8th, with online availability November 18th. That’s all folks!

The enV is much more durable than the Iphone. I hope that when Verizon made the Voyager in the Iphone’s image that they did not make it so delicate.

like the iphone is such a great device? it sucks in fat i had mine for less than 5 days. AT&T’s data network is so slow that it simply doses not work properly. and what is up with the picture messaging? you can’t even get an actual pic message you have to go to a website to view the pic. pathetic…. the vzw version is going to be great and i can not wait!

For all you guys who think the Voyager can actually compete with the iPhone, I hope you know that there is a huge difference between a touch-screen device and a multi-touch device. The Voyager is a touch-screen; the iPhone is multi-touch. There is a huge difference. Multi-touch is what lets iPhone users “flick” to scroll and “pinch” the images and web pages to zoom in and out. The iPhone/iPod Touch is the first and only multi-touch device. Yeah, the Voyager will be a cool phone and it looks like the iPhone, but it won’t hold a candle to the iPhone’s user interface.

you people who sit there and talk about vzw are pathetic. i live in the worst apossible area and vzw is the only service that i am able to obtain, and as for the fact of you talking so much trash on the new phone is ridc. it is far better the the iphone. did you not see all the stuff on the news on how the iphone is crap? i believe that vzws’s new phone will beat out the iphone considering it has an ACTUAL keyboard.

i just pre-ordered my VENUS on VZW site. Can’t wait for it to come in. I got lucky and only paid $99.99 for mine. I used the two year member discount and they gave my dad $100 towards any phone so I took it. I just can’t wait to finally have a phone that has just come out before all of my friends.

Well, I have my Venus now and am very disappointed so far. I wanted it primarily for the 8GB to store music. So far, I get about 3.6GB uploaded to the phone and then get a out of space error. Still shows 4GB remaining on the card though. Seems to be the way they format it. If I don’t find a work around, it will go back to Verizon.

I have a question. I’m thinking about either getting a Blackberry pearl or the voyager. Anyone have a good comparison? Also, I just found out that neither of them is WiFi capable. Does anyone know of a good device that supports Wifi?
