BlackBerry 8120 lauches in Spain
Oh, the joys of living in Europe. A rapidly strengthening Euro, access to socialized health care, and a brand new BlackBerry 8120. That’s right, we just went there. RIM has gone ahead and launched the BlackBerry 8120 on Spanish soil, partnering with Spanish telecom giant Telefonica. The phone, as most of you well know, still sports Wi-Fi, a 2 megapixel camera with video support, external microSD slot, newly redesigned UI, media player with a 3.5mm headset jack, and a couple more goodies. All of this comes housed in a cool blue casing. Sound appealing? We don’t blame you. The handset is available immediately at a variety of different price points depending on your level of service, so if you feel like hopping the pond for a day, or so you might want to run by a Telefonica store while you’re at it.
Thanks, to everyone that sent this in!

Anyone know when this will launch on T-Mobile (USA)? I don’t to buy one of the new “String of Pearls”, I don’t care about pretty colors, I want one with WiFi!

I just spoke to a cingular rep and I told him I was interested in buying the pearl but I had heard a new version was coming out soon. He said rumors are that a new blackberry, is coming out at the end of the month. He didn’t know if it was an update to the curve or pearl.
Anyway, is there a point in getting this phone if you don’t get the blackberry data plan? I kind of want to convert my phone and MP3 player into one and seeing how this has a 3.5 mm headset jack, it seems like a good choice.

From the photos, the blue and black casing look like matted colors. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks
