Ever wanted to peek deep inside the Sidekick LX’s OS? We compiled a couple screenshots to take you through most of it. Believe it or not, the shots we’re showing you actually look better on the device than they will here on your computer monitor (for the most part). We’ve got the Catalog, AIM, MSN, myFaves, Music Player, and much more after the jump!
BG, is the signal on the thing as jumpy as the pictures say it is?

because we have gotten the rsvp cards from the local t mobile… means we get the device on the 24th, but it doesnt specify what color.. does anyone know what color will be given that day or if there will be a choice… i think blue and brown suck. id rather have old school sk2 color over those..

I hope the browser can display .gif animations and audio… I need to get my ytmnd on. forget about youtube. Web video would be amazing, but I hope we at least get animated .gif out of this sucker. btw/ tweet me twitterz!!!!!!!

Is SnowBored still a hidden game?
Can you access websites now that you couldn’t on sk³? (Rumor is that they tweaked the Javascript on the LX)
Can you show screens with various text sizes? (Rumor has it you can choose text size of small/med/large within different apps)
Can you do a bob screen shot? (I asume there is a bigger play area due to wder screen)
Is there Rocks & Rockets available?
Does Calculator look the same or have more features?
Can those of us with SunCom stores (NC/SC/PR) get the LX when it comes out? (T-Mobile bought out SunCom)
Have they added any more UniCode Symbols? ♪

i heard that the brown and blue lx’s come out on the 24th of october .
and on the 7th of novemeber, the black and purple ones come out at $100 less.

Okay, the SKLX has a more than 2x screen resolution than previous sk3/id models…
So why is it, that the only two applications that would benifit from this jump(myspace app and web browser) are not screencapped for our enjoyment?
To be completely fair, the sklx’s upgrades show possibilities for better pix, video playback, better games, and more polished apps… but that’s all wishful thinking, I’d like to see screenshots of it’s current improvements, not more rehashed pix of os v3.4…

It may be a stupid question, but i just wanted to know if you can put songs from windows media/Wal-Mart website on the phone. It will be my first sidekick, so im not to familiar. If you can put this music on the phone, i would like you to maybe tell me how..lol Please respond.

The SKLX has only one obvious, serious improvement. Screen resolution…
So why is it that the only two apps that would benefit from this (myspace mobile and the web browser) are not shown?
Throw me on the LX bandwagon(new SK3 user, love it), but this article isn’t really helping any of us.

Hey I’m getting the lx but I wanna kno if the camra is better and if the web browser is actually faster because I’ve heard the same thing with evey sk they had out and trust me I’ve had all of them except one and they aint too fast if you ask me and yea is the speaker phone louder because I have sk3™ now and some times when my phone is on speaker it sounds as if its of I kno its a lot of q’s but I need to kno !!!!!! And are they coming out with pretty colors because the ones so far are pretty dull and old folk looking *SUNNY*

Hi I just bought a sidekick lx like two days ago (is amazing.) and I think I have a defective one but I’m not sure the speaker sounds like it’s shorted or something is anyone else having this problem or is it really that mine is defective.

yes there is a myspace ap really cool lets you check mail write mail blog read blogs only 1.59 extra a month super cheap you pay 20 extra a month for unlimited all messages.
