As far as Dell haters, go train yourself to accept a good product when you see one. You can apply that practice to everything in life. It's part of evolving. For a regular user both platforms are fine. Although you need to be a little more advanced technically to work with PCs. Macs are dumb proof to a certain extent or basically you just have to sent it in when it craps out on you. (sheep Factor). Now back to the M2010. When you have the money to buy the best configuration of this system your a happy camper. When you don't have the bucks then you try to find reasons why it sucks because you can't have it or it will put you in the poor house. If you cant buy, it is still ok to admire it. The system out of the box kicks ass. Definitely more impressive than unpacking an iMac. Has great adjustment positioning for the monitor. It just doesn't swivel. Oh and before I forget out of the box you only need to connect the power. Some idiots at apple showed a profile of an iMac vs Dell XPS410 to compare the cable clutter. You need to do that with a similar system loosers. Like the M2010. One cable for M2010 three for iMac. And the winner is....... Well don't start telling me that you can put a wireless KB and mouse. That doesn't count because it's not out of the box like that and you still have to occupy two usb slots. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Dells are bluetooth. Besides the fact that you close the system and it has a handle for transport. Also offered is a great case with wheels so you don't break your back. If you search on google there are some poor bastards trying to install OSX on this beauty.(they cant find a driver for the graphics, lol) The keyboard has a great feel and the mouse pad feels, works and responds great. Blu-Ray RW Raid 0 7200rpm for performance. Just use Acronis for an external backup of your setup for security. Killer screen Great remote with gyroscopic functionality and full Media Center Control even when the system is shut down. Actually you can get the module for this Remote that is connected internally and mod it for use with all other PCs. Connected my Cintiq 21UX on the external DVI for dual monitors in the studio and finished a $12k job like a champ. It was a test to see how well this system will do. I created an image for a very big fighting tv network, file size 2GB. OK 1,9GB to be exact and did the job like a champ. Together with my portable Cintiq 12WX I get jobs done on location with no sweat. If you like to showoff it will also do that. As a desktop replacement: I think this is what desktops should look like. The Desktop replacement term doesn't give it justice. The only purpose it might not serve is Hi-end Gaming although I play Counter Strike and Ghost Recon with no issues whatsoever. If Dell decides to make a gaming version of this PC it will kill a lot of competition but it will also create a problem for their own line of gaming systems so it is probably just a dream of mine. Same applies to iTouch. Go buy an Archos. They are the bomb. Expensive for the extra stuff but they cover everything. Almost. No Phone. No HD recording. But that's pushing it. Maybe next year. Maybe I added a lot of unnecessary stuff here but I am sick and tired of people just saying crap because their head is full of it. Try before you say anything or do an in-depth research. If not just shut up and stop misleading people. The internet is a great source of info if you can find it from realistic, open minded, un-influenced by the hype individuals. If you don't have the money for a system like this you can setup a system for a lot less that will offer you more power but less luxury. That is a fact. Incompatibility with a lot of great PC software
Always behind in regards to upgradeability including several restrictions and driver issues for devices, like they don’t even exist and will never exist. Common, make a REAL windows version. Well they went with intel. I guess that’s a start and they got some sense working.
Always behind in software versions besides adobe AND A COUPLE OTHER STUFF. They are getting better though.
Media Center efforts, calling them second to Windows MCE is a compliment.

Last reason, IPODS and IPHONES. No divx support.
iPhone very impressive but for the to following reasons they can kiss my ass:
iPhone 8GB is an insult and very sllllloooooow internet
iPhone no Flash super insult. Same applies to iTouch.

Go buy an Archos. They are the bomb. Expensive for the extra stuff but they cover everything. Almost. No Phone. No HD recording. But that’s pushing it. Maybe next year.

Maybe I added a lot of unnecessary stuff here but I am sick and tired of people just saying crap because their head is full of it.
Try before you say anything or do an in-depth research. If not just shut up and stop misleading people. The internet is a great source of info if you can find it from realistic, open minded, un-influenced by the hype individuals. So stop cluttering the web with your bull.

I have been fooled by the hype myself in the past but this purchase has been proven by far positive for me.

If you don’t have the money for a system like this you can setup a system for a lot less that will offer you more power but less luxury. That is a fact. Besides, you might have some money left to buy a nice little laptop.

If you plan on buying it don’t compare it with Hi-End workstations or Gaming Systems. It makes no sense. If you have the money buy both.

Its the hardware that makes this machine great. I doubt anyone else could come up with better, when you have to incorporate a subwoofer, 20 inch screen, and so on into a traditional notebook design.
