Nokia’s tricked out Ford Mustang
Yeah, we know this sounds like something out of the twilight zone, but we promise you this is legit. Nokia, in addition to showing off their N81 and N95 8GB handsets, partnered with Ford to bring a special Nokia edition Ford Mustang. We’re not sure if the car portion of this thing sports any special modifications, but the interior has undergone quite an overhaul. The car rocks seat back-mounted N800s for the two rear passengers, as well as a center console mounted N800 for the driver and front passenger. The N800s appeared to be functioning as control devices for an internal media server, bringing streaming audio to the car’s stereo system. All of the N800s in the automobile were connected to a Wi-Fi connection courtesy of an on board N95. All told, this is one crazy machine, though we could do without the stock blue Ford leather. More pics after the jump!

thats pretty cool car.

Yea I’ve heard about this car, the only things that changed are the tech (to something good) and the interior and exterior trim type stuff. the engine is still the 300 horse 8-cylinder by Ford. Shit, if somebody said here ya go its yours I wouldn’t mind at all.

All the Nokia items look like they were just stuck onto a concept car they already had in the works. Cool car, but sad effort.

Holy crap that’s awesome.

Awesome…go Michigan!
BTW…How do they expect people to surf the net in the back seat when nobody can fit back there?

Who did the modding, a couple of 8th graders? What crap workmanship. Looks like they just slapped some Nokia gadgets into a stock p.o.s. Mustang and said, “Here. It’s our pimped out Nokai-mobile.” Sad effort by hacks.

That really does look pathetic, I have seen far more professional jobs by people on forums.
Head over to mp3car for some fantastic looking DIY jobs that look totally OEM. And they integrate full PCs, not “internet tablets”.

I’d be really stretching it if I said nice try. That car is super weak. They should have called Pimp my Ride for this one….The truth always hurts.

Darn shame this is ony a Butt-a-matic and a heavy 8 cylinder. For true motorsports enthusiasts (beyond web browsing, gaming, email, streaming music/video, on and on search ‘Nokia N800′ those aren’t just TVs) the N800 also features a unique virtual guages and vehicle diagnostic application. Google ‘N800 Carman’ for images/info. Oh - N800 also does GPS. Word (th)em up.

if you polish a turd it’s still a turd
nokia should have gone with a gm vehicle or a japanese car, because no matter what you put in it, ford cars made after 1985 were made so cheaply that they break almost as soon as the warrenty is up
i personaly wouldn’t be caught dead in one
