The way I imagine it: the unlucky few that have a briked phone have been lucky enough to get a genius that probably doesn’t know or read into the device well enough to recognize a hack, they probably see it as a software issue.

Does anyone think this could just be psychological warfare on El Jobso’s part? Maybe he is saying that but he wants to show that the Genius’s really care as does Apple, but has to do his part for AT&T to make it “look” like hes doing everything to protect the revenue stream. I mean thats what a smart slick guy like Steve Jobs would do…
