Thats’ pretty sweet, now if they put a 50 gig HDD in it so you could DVR on to it and watch that stuff remotely…that would be the sickest DVR style device on the market.

Slingbox lets you watch ANYTHING that you can normally get on your Cable box, including your DVR’d shows.

No it simply allows you to watch your home television remotely. If you have a TIVO or DirecTV DVR, etc, you can use that remotely too. It acts as a streamer, so any video source you give it, it will stream the content to your laptop or mobile device. The downside? If anyone is watching the TV you are watching remotely, they have to watch what you are watching or vice versa. Beyond that, the device is outstanding!
