From what we can tell so far, the device feels a lot smoother, and we had no trouble connecting to our home Wi-Fi network right out of the box. UMA calls worked, but data does not until you setup and provision your BlackBerry account on T-Mobile’s network. Then, you will get the Wi-Fi service books. Since this is a totally hot anticipated device (look out your windows for T-Mobile lovers rioting in excitement), we’re giving one away! I really need a new phone. I have Tmo but I have a crappy v360 that doesn’t work at my house because I don’t get good signal. Hook me up so I can use wifi and I will be forever grateful!!!!

lol. i love bgr. i come to this site everyday every hour. i used to always go to phonescoop.com and phonearea.com. Not any more. You even stole me away from engaget. I tell tmobile retail stores about this site and my friends. They also love this site. But not more than me lol. I also love how you guys put a little humor into your postings. I laugh everytime. I’ve been waiting for the Curve to drop on TMO for months (like everyone else) and knowing you had the release on this phone as 9/24 I’ve been checking multi-times per day the last couple weeks..
Last night when I saw your message about the phone launching (er falling) I got online AND called Customer Care re upgrading – I spoke with several CSRs as well as a PDA dept person – they all wanted to know where I’d heard the news.. I would not tell them as I didn’t want you catching any kinda backlash..
All I asked when told it was not yet available was:
When will it be? and How much will it cost? I got multiple answers to the first question and no answer to the first.
One rep even told me I should contact RIM to find out those answers!!
Anyway, I’ve written to them to find out how they could tell me last night that the phone would be available today, Monday, next month and the month after.. I’ve asked for a prompt response to prevent me from going to the Apple store and returning to those (expletive deleted) at AT&Tingular!!
I have not heard anything from them other than the auto reply “You’ll hear from us in about 72 hours” BS
So.. If you’d be so kind as to grace me with the gift of this phone, you’ll be salvaging an account for TMO and I think that’s right up your charitable alley.
No worries, I’ll still peep you daily either way.
