Electronic spin-the-bottle gradually introduces geeks to society

Kids these days. Bringing their iPods to class, texting on their cell phones, and now circling up to play electronic spin-the-bottle. I don’t know about this one; without a real bottle, you lose out on that sinking feeling you get when you try so hard to make the bottle stop at Stacey and it ends up pointing at Jason. I used to practice up in my room so I’d be able to get the bottle to stop wherever I wanted it to, and I ended up being a real master. Never got to demonstrate my skills at an actual party, but that’s ok; I wouldn’t have wanted to show everyone else up. I was so popular, though. Seriously.

    Are kids this lazy now? I mean what do you really need for this a bottle and a few friends (the latter maybe be hard to come by), but come on. So what is next digital closet heaven (or was it seven seconds of heaven - don’t remember that one too well). People this is why we are so fat we can’t even spin our own bottle. I hope this toy burns so it can be tossed away just as quick.

    @victor,

    Seven seconds? Is that all it took back then?

    Is this really news worthy for this site?

    If you were to start writing up stories for BGR about every lame toy that comes out then you would flood out everything else.

    @Eric Maybe it was more, I don’t know how long it was. I do know that no matter how long it always felt like an eternity. But good fun!!

    Right, I think it was called seven minutes in heaven. I am sure it was seven seconds for some people, the rest of the six minutes and fifty three seconds was spend saying “I’m sorry, I must have been too excited”
